Friezes are a type of Cut Pile Plush carpets. Like them they come in a wide assortment of colors and nap lengths. Some people prefer Friezes to traditional Cut Piles due to their textured appearance. Though they look similar to the Shag carpets of the past, the fibers of Friezes are made of different types of fibers today and have a much tighter twist to help prevent them from fraying due to traffic or vacuuming. Similar to the Shag carpet of the past Friezes are very comfortable to walk on and make great rugs for low traffic areas of homes; such as bed rooms.
